The Associate Product Manager position is responsible for the successful management of product related critical operational functions. The Associate Product Manager will support market research in order to understand and analyze the needs of the customers. The candidate will manage innovation products from its inception stage. They will develop and implement new strategies to get a strong hold in the market. The candidate will be actively involved the with core teams to support promotional campaigns and will manage excellent professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Candidate will study the market trends and will be able to analyze the customer’s needs based on the post sales results of the products. The candidate must be a detail orientated individual who is ultimately responsible for high priority cross-program product functions that achieve sales. This position includes creation of, and on-going management of approved public product lists, identifying target lists, and executing application filing. Assistance is provided from program specific Product Managers and other teams. Management of mapping projects where product content is mapped to established public standards. Accessibility expertise, including execution of VPAT requests or appropriate publications of our accessibility. The data entry of product creation, and product list management. The Associate Product Manager works as the proactive and reactive opportunity owner for all programs.

  • Product Management – Define and source launching and managing of profitable products

  • Voluntary Product Accessibility Template Management – Accessibility expert, including execution of VPAT requests or appropriate publications of accessibility

  • Mapping Management – Manage projects where product content is mapped to established public standards

  • National or State approved list management – Organize, keep current, and build out portfolio.

  • Product Set-up – Data entry, and product list management across all programs. Assist as Product Manager directs.

  • Experience in meeting and exceeding needs of internal and external clients

  • Successfully demonstrated self-directed management across multiple functions

  • Outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

  • Leadership, problem-solving, time-management, planning and project-management skills

  • Knowledge of the internal systems used to support clients

Education and Experience:

  • BA or BS or equivalent experience

  • 2 years business development and negotiation experience

  • 2-3 years experience taking a product from inception to market, including market opportunity, launch, maint., financial performance, and retirement

  • Excel Expert certification, or ability to obtain immediately

Location: American Fork, UT (not a remote or tele-commute position)
